Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Plover-Shuda Funeral Home, with Deacon Vern Linzmeier officiating. Burial will be in Antigo.
Visitation was be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services. The Loyal Order of Moose, of which he was a member, will hold a ritual at 11 am. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Combel was born in 1936 in Bisbee, Ariz., a son of the late Leon Jean and Beth (Hatcher) Combel. He graduated from Oceanside High School in Oceanside, Calif., and later moved to the state of Washington.
He moved to Antigo in the late 1970s, and started working at the Lockwood Corporation.
He moved to Plover in 1978, and continued his career with Lockwood, Roberts Irrigation, Spudnik, and later at Risty Motor Repair, retiring in 2002.
He was married to Sharon Mauk-Dunn Oct. 6, 1979, in Antigo.
The couple settled in Plover.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; three children, Doreena (Elden) Metzer, Leon J. (Patti) Combel and Judy Combel; three stepchildren, Jeffery (Karin) Dunn; Steven (Michelle) Dunn and Patrick (Jennifer) Dunn; one brother, James Combel; one sister, Betty Rabourn; one half-brother, Daniel Murchison; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
