Jean Marie Baron, 86, formerly of Mosinee, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau while under the care of her family and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee, with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.

Mrs. Baron was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kopinski) Hamenka.
She was married to Joseph Baron Sept. 24, 1950, in Chicago. He died Nov. 17, 1991.
She was employed at Mars Candy and Sears in Chicago until moving to Mosine in 1989.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice (Eric Dombrowsky) Baron, Stevens Point; three siblings, Olga Hornung, Mosinee, Patricia (Cy) Lepak, Cumberland, and Steve Hamenka, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, Steven (Tina) Hauber, Craig (Katelyn Schmidt) Hauber, both of Wausau, Melissa Hauber, Weston, and Logan Dombrowsky, Stevens Point; and one great-grandson.
