A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Burlington, with the Rev. John Gibson presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Burlington.
Visitation will be at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home in Burlington from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Memorials to her children’s educational fund would be appreciated. Memorials may be made at Educator’s Credit Union, 448 Falcon Ridge, Burlington, WI 53105.
Mrs. Libbey was born July 11, 1979, in Stevens Point, a daughter of Lynn (LaBrot) Jackson and the late Richard Jackson. She spent her early life in Stevens Point where she graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School.
She attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) for two years and UW-Stevens Point, where she received a bachelor’s degree in teaching.
She moved to Burlington to start her teaching career.
She was married to Nathan Libbey July 28, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Burlington.
Jennifer was a kindergarten teacher at Waller and Winkler schools in Burlington during her 10 years of teaching.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Burlington Jaycees. She coached soccer and was a rope jumper where she was a part of The Wizards, the jump-roping team from Junction City that traveled internationally. She had been a mail-boat jumper in Lake Geneva.
Survivors include her husband, Nathan; three children, Addison, 4, Jackson, 3, and Lauryn, 1; her mother, Lynn Jackson, Stevens Point; one brother, Jay Jackson; and her mother and father-in-law, Michael and Victoria Libbey.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Maynard and Mary LaBrot and Lyle and Honey Jackson.
