Per his request there will be no public service. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

Mr. Engebretson was born March 1, 1954, in Rockford, Ill., a son of Lolita E. (Langton) Engebretson and the late Ole M. Engebretson Jr. He attended Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) after moving to Stevens Point at a young age.
From 1991 to 1993 he attended Mid-State Technical College and studied computer electronics and mechanical design.
After SPASH he worked mostly as a delivery driver, starting with Mid-State Distributing and most recently Werner Electric.
He was married to Cathy Zissis in 1979.
They spent several years in Arizona in the late 1980s and then returned to Stevens Point where they later divorced.
He played softball for many years in the Stevens Point, Plover and Junction City leagues.
Survivors include his mother, Lolita Engebretson, Stevens Point; one daughter, Aimee Engebretson, Rhinelander; one son Rory Engebretson, Amherst; two brothers Rick (Barb) and Jim (Michelle), both of Amherst; three sisters, Florence (Sena Anderson) Koch, Waupun, Karen (Jim) Cotton, Chanute, Kan., and Tonya Fuller, Phoenix, N.Y.; and one grandson, Braydon Engebretson, Rhinelander.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Grant and Gladys Langton and Ole and Lottie Engebretson Sr.
