A memorial service will be held at noon Monday, July 14, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton, with the Rev. Norman Boneck officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Mosinee.
Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Monday until the service.

Mr. Malkowski was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Dancy, a son of the late Charles “Ky” and Lillian (Botwinski) Malkowski. Marvin attended the Dancy School and Mosinee High School, graduating in 1947.
He graduated from Central State Teachers College (now known as the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) in 1951.
He was drafted into U.S. Army during the Korean War and served from Oct. 2, 1951, to Oct. 1, 1963. During the war he was a sergeant and was stationed at Camp Pendelton in Oceanside, Calif., and at Marine Barracks in Jacksonville, Fla.
After the Korean War, he worked with his father and together they ran Dancy Sand and Gravel.
He was married to Ingeborg Lowe Oct. 15, 1966, in Knowlton.
From 1971 to 1986 he worked for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue as a tax assessor. He later became a private tax assessor, working for various towns and villages in the central and northern Wisconsin area. He retired in 2011.
He spent time researching family history.
Survivors include his wife, Ingeborg Malkowski; one daughter, Annette (Todd) Czerneski; two sons, Marvin (Terrie) Jr. and Brian (Karen); four grandchildren, Amanda Leslie, Carissa, Kendra and Joshua; and one great-granddaughter, Abbigail Leslie.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Albert.
