Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. James Douglas and the Rev. Martin Baur officiating. Entombment will be at Forest Hill Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.
Memorials may be designated to the Outdoor Sign Fund at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

Mr. Johnson was born June 21, 1930, in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of the late Walter O. and Frieda (Fuelle) Johnson. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948.
After graduation, he spent four years in the U.S. Air Force.
He was married to Joan A. Teske Sept. 3, 1955. She preceded him in death.
The couple moved back to Wisconsin Rapids in 1958, and he continued his 43-year career with Consolidated Papers Inc., retiring in 1991.
During his career, he served on the Board of Directors of the Data Processing Management Association and American Federation of Information Processing Societies. He also was an active community volunteer by serving as a Bulls Eye Credit Union board member, Home Owner’s Association for Colonial Villages board member, and usher, council member and Boy Pioneers volunteer at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Sally Johnson, Poplar Branch, N.C.; two sons, Brian (Sue), Wisconsin Rapids, and Douglas (Kathy), Plainfield; two sisters, Edna Haferman and Elaine (Bill) Wittrock, both of Wisconsin Rapids; and seven grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Elmira Schroeder.
