Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Almond, with the Rev. Arleigh Lutz Jr. officiating.

Mr. Lutz was born Dec. 31, 1938, in Almond, a son of the late Arleigh and Cecelia (Olkiewicz) Lutz Sr. He attended a rural country school, the Almond Public School and graduated from Almond High School in 1956.
After graduation he worked for the Victrylite Candle Company in Oshkosh.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1962. After basic training he served as a military policeman in Metz, France, until he was discharged in 1964.
He then worked in the airline industry, first for Republic Airlines, then Northwest and finally Delta until his retirement in 2001.
Survivors include two brothers, Rev. Arleigh (Barbara) Lutz Jr., Wausau, and James (Karen) Lutz, Austin, Texas; two sisters, Leandra Wimble, Friendship, and Dorothy (Richard) Karr, Ocala, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Douglas Wimble.
