A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Howard Hintzman officiating. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and again from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service.

Mr. Kinney was born May 21, 1952, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Charles and Elaine (Steinbeck) Kinney. He grew up in Stevens Point, attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1970.
Following high school, he was employed with Consolidated Papers Inc. as a general laborer.
He was inducted into the U.S. Army April 25, 1972. He was honorably discharged April 24, 1978, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea) and the Expert Badge (M-16).
Following military service, he continued his employment with the paper mill as a general laborer, wood room operator, and retired in 2009 as a millwright.
He was married to Kathleen E. Lehman March 12, 2009, in Stevens Point.
Survivors include his wife, Katie, Stevens Point; his children, Chuck (Amber Skerven) Kinney, Adam (Kristen) Kinney, Jenny Kinney and Brandon (Lindsey Hebda) Makuski, all of Stevens Point; one granddaughter, Ava Jo Makuski; one aunt, Betty Fosso; one nephew, Shane; his ex-wife, Lynne Mehis; and his ex-wife, Michelle McNichols.
