Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Port Edwards, with the Rev. John Swing officiating.
Visitation will be at Higgins Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
Donations may be made to St. Alexander Catholic Church in his name.

Mr. Haumschild was born Jan. 9, 1918, in Milladore, a son of the late to John and Emma (Lilly) Haumschild. He attended school in Milladore.
He served in the U.S. 11th Corps of Engineers on the Pan American Highway for two years and then he was assigned to West Point for two years as a shooting instructor.
He was married to Irene Mayer Aug. 12, 1947.
They spent most of their married life in the Arpin area.
He worked for Kellogg Lumber and also was the postmaster in Arpin for 24 years, retiring in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; one son, Dr. Daniel (Carol) Haumschild; one daughter-in-law, Virginia Haumschild; two brothers, Ed (Shirley), Marshfield, and Donald (Sandy), Casco; one sister, Marie Dineen, St. Nazianz; one sister-in-law, Ruth Haumschild, Milladore; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Dr. Ronald; and two brothers, John Jr. and Ervin.
