A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, with a rosary prayed at 6 p.m., and in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Jakusz was born April 5, 1920, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Ladislaus and Eleanore (Shemanski) Jaworski. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1939.
She was married to Hubert Jakusz June 5, 1948, at St. Peter Catholic Church. He died in 1997.
The couple lived on the north side of Stevens Pont their entire lives.
She “tied snells” for Weber Tackle for a few years at home, but devoted most of her life to caring for her family, including many grandchildren. She was an avid cross-stitcher.
She was a 50-year member of the St. Peter Rosary Society. She was also a longtime member of many organizations, including the American Legion Post 6 Auxiliary, Noon Lions Club and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Peter) Kohnen and Kathy (Dennis) Barden; one son, Robert (Angie) Jakusz; seven grandchildren, Tracie (Jeff) Kleiner, Benjamin (Chelsie) Kohnen, Shane (Jennifer) Kohnen, Neil Barden, Amber Barden, Elise Jakusz and Natalie Jakusz; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Roman “Skeeter” and Theodore “Bud” Jaworski; three sisters, Marie Gething, Dorothy Cyran and Ruth Jaworski; and six siblings who died at or shortly after their birth, Chester, Adam, Ida, Stanley, Albert, and Eva.
