Elaine Judith Aittama, 71, Highland, Mich., co-owner of Milford Baking Company there and mother of a Stevens Point man, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, after a six-year battle with leukemia.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home in Milford, Mich., with Pastor Terry Klaus officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 17, and from 3 p.m. Sunday until the service.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Charach Cancer Treatment Center, 1 William Carls Drive, Commerce Township, MI 48382.

Mrs. Aittama was born Oct. 17, 1942.
She was married to David Aittama 53 years ago.
She was a co-owner of Milford Baking Company in Milford Mich., for more than 23 years.
Survivors include her husband, David; one son, Craig (Terry) Aittama, Stevens Point; one daughter, Heidi (Mike) Kirchner; one sister, Diane (Bill) Heinz; six grandchildren, Kara, Lindsay, William (Alissa), Dean, Hannah and Laura; and one great-granddaughter, Victoria.
