A Memorial Mass was held Saturday, May 3, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake, with the Rev. Dan Volkert officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation was in the Resurrection Chapel of the church Saturday, May 3.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Kohler High School Alumni Fund or St. Nicholas’ Hospital Home Health Hospice program.

Mrs. Miller was born March 21, 1931, in Shawano, a daughter of the late George “Jake” and Urith (Schweers) Frank. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Wausau in 1952 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from St. Francis in Joliet, Ill., in 1979.
She was married to Jerome W. “Jerry” Miller Oct. 17, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. He died March 1, 2011.
They lived and worked in Aurora, Colo., while her husband was in the armed forces.
In 1958, they moved to Kohler, where she was active in the Kohler Women’s Club and St. John’s Altar Society. She was a Cub and Webelo Scout leader.
She worked as a registered nurse at St. Nicholas’ Hospital on the medical-surgical unit, recovery and operating room before retiring as the supervisor of surgery and the Emergency Department in 1987.
Since her retirement, she was active in the 220 Ladies Golf Club, Plymouth Women’s Civic Society and as a volunteer for St. Nicholas Hospice.
Survivors include two sons, William “Bill” (Cheryl), Corona, Calif., and David (Kathy), Cascade; one daughter-in-law, Vicki Miller, McHenry, Ill.; one sister-in-law, Virginia Magalska, New London; two brothers-in-law, John “Buddy” Miller and Norbert “Nubbs” (Delores) Miller, both of Steven Point; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Daniel “Danny” and James “Jim”; one daughter-in-law; her stepmother, Dorothy (Idhe) Frank; one brother-in-law, Ken Magalska; and three sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Newell, Audrey (Dennis) Berg and Patricia Miller.
