A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Worzella Pines Park at Lake Pacawa in Plover, with the Rev. Rebecca Iverson officiating. A private family burial will take place in Rhinelander at a later date.
Visitation will be at the park from noon Saturday until the service.
Mr. Holewinski was born Dec. 19, 1986, in Rhinelander, a son of the late Ronald Holewinski and the late Lesley Kirsch. He attended McKinley Elementary School and Ben Franklin Junior High School in Stevens Point and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 2005.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
He was an employee of the Portage County Humane Society.
In early 2012 he moved to the Omaha area and worked as a veterinary assistant. In 2013 he joined the Metro Credit Union and worked as a teller. He was recently promoted into customer service.
Survivors include six sisters, Alison (Kelsey) Garrigan, New London, Austen Gollon, Custer, Roni (BJ) Passe, Mead, Neb., Cody (Jamie) Bronk, Bailey and Asa Plonsky, all of Stevens Point; one brother, Atticus Plonsky, Stevens Point; and his stepfather, Mark Plonsky, Stevens Point.
