Mary G. Drake, 88, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in the town of Hart in Minnesota.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the Mass.
Memorials may be made to Pacelli High School or Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools.

Mrs. Drake was born July 9, 1925, in in Winona, Minn., a daughter of the late Roman J. and Gertrude M. (Martin) Kauphusman. She grew up in Winona and attended local schools.
She was married to Ralph W. Drake June 5, 1944, at St. James Parish in Jamestown, Minn. He preceded her in death.
Early years were spent in San Francisco, Winona and Eau Claire, and then they settled in Stevens Point. They were active within the community for 54 years.
She was an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Parish where she sang in the church choir and coordinated the funeral choir. She served as a Eucharistic Minister at Mass and brought the Eucharist to the homebound. She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
She was an avid bridge player. She also created Christmas ornaments and many other handicrafts.
Survivors include three daughters, Dee Drake, Stockholm, Sweden, Deborah Justice, Canton, Mich., and Denise (Dennis) McCulley, Madison; three sons, Steven (Irene), Gillett, David (Lili), Amherst, and Paul (Barbara), Peoria, Ariz.; seven siblings; 13 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren; and one great- great-stepgrandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Bob; and two sisters, Jeanne and Margaret.
