Nicholas James Fiore, 45, Stevens Point, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 4, 2014, while in Miami, Fla., for his work.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at the United Presbyterian Church in Wisconsin Dells, with the Rev. Steven Keller officiating. Burial will be at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Military honors will be provided by the Harold B. Larkin Post 187 of Wisconsin Dells.
Visitation will be at the church from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 10, and again from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services.
A donation to his daughter’s college fund may be made to the family.

Mr. Fiore was born Sept. 20, 1968, in La Crosse, a son of Donna (Buchanan) Farrett and the late Nicholas Fiore. He grew up in Wisconsin Dells and then moved to Madison, graduating from La Follette High School in 1987.
He joined the Marine Corps Reserves and was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990-91.
He was married to Kim Elliot in 1990.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1994 and also did course work in pursuit of a master’s degree.
He worked in the insurance industry as a product manager since 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Kim; one daughter, Jamie; his mother, Donna (Tom) Farrett, Wisconsin Dells; one brother, Anthony (Lisa) Fiore, Madison; his stepmother, Terri Fiore, Poynette; three stepbrothers, Jeremy (Linda) Peck, Poynette; Brian (Tara) Peck, Madison; and one stepsister, Jennifer Peck, Madison.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicholas and Josephine Fiore and Homer and Hilda Buchanan.
