A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lakewood, with the Rev. Benjamin Sember officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring.
Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the service.
Memorials may be directed to Christian Food Pantry at St. John’s in Townsend, Wis.; Nicolet Search Team in Mountain, Wis.; Lakewood/Townsend Community Ambulance Service in Townsend, Wis., or the charity of one’s choice.

Mr. Konopacky was born May 19, 1935, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Peter and Margaret (Karner) Konopacky. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point.
He furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) before enlisting in the Air Force in 1955. He served until 1957 and returned home to continue his education.
He was married to Barbara Conlon Nov. 22, 1958, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
He graduated from UWSP in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education.
In 1964 they moved to Green Bay where he taught computers at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. In 1969 he started working for Cooperative Educational Service Agency 9 and remained there until his retirement in 1988.
They purchased property in Lakewood in 1974 and built a log house in 1978. The house eventually became their home.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, Lakewood; two daughters, Patricia (Richard) Meister, Janesville, and Elizabeth (Raymond) Del Fava, Pleasant Prairie; two sons, Daniel (Marie), Lake Tomahawk, and David (Kelly Kraetsch), Land O’Lakes; two brothers, Jerome, Stevens Point, and James (Joyce), Crystal River, Fla., and eight grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one infant son, Timothy; one son, Thomas James; one sister, Audrey; and four brothers, Karl, David, Peter and Robert.
