Jerome J. “Jerry” Konkol, 81, Waukesha, an Amherst native, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church in Pewaukee. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be at Church and Chapel Funeral Home in Waukesha from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, until the Mass.

Mr. Konkol was born July 12, 1932, in Amherst, a son of the late Peter and Dora (Trzebiatowski) Konkol.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force.
He was married to Mary Ann Franckowiak for 40 years. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey and David; two sisters, Elsie Bauer and Lorraine Binter; one brother, Peter Konkol Jr.; nieces; and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one child, Terry; three brothers, Robert, Sylvester and Hubert; and one sister, Carol Patoka.
