A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Martin Lieber officiating. Burial will be in North New Hope Cemetery in the town of New Hope.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
Memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.

Mr. Olson was born Sept. 29, 1947, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Knute and Tilde Olson. He attended Lincoln Elementary School in Wausau and Jefferson Middle School in Wausau and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army March 13, 1968. He was a medic during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged March 12, 1971.
Following his discharge, he attended technical school in Chicago before moving back to Wisconsin. He continued his education, taking various courses at North Central Technical College in Wausau.
He was married to Bonnie Chesny March 3, 1972, in Wausau. They later divorced.
He worked for J.I. Case as an assemblyman while attending college. Following his education, he continued working until becoming disabled. He later settled in Waupaca.
He was a lifelong Lutheran.
Survivors include one son, Chandice, Wausau; one brother, Donald “Donnie,” Georgia; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Olson, Pewaukee; grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Orin and Maynard.
