A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Friday.

Mr. Phillip was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Albert and Margaret (Bungert) Phillip. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1941.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1943 and served in Trinidad. He earned the Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, four overseas bars, service stripe and Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1946 and returned to Stevens Point.
He became a journeyman electrician and worked in the area until his retirement.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 6 and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include one sister, Dorothy (John) Piatt, Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Melvin (Diana), Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Gerald, George, Albert Jr., Maurice and Raymond.
