Jeffrey G. “Jeff” Moscinski, 51, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at his home after a three-year battle with cancer. He was under the care of his family and Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in the town of Buena Vista, with the Rev. James Tempe officiating. Burial will be in the St. Martin Cemetery in the town of Buena Vista.
Visitation will be at the Pisa ski Community Funeral Home in Plover from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass. A general rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Moscinski was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Edwin and Genevieve (Yacht) Moscinski. He graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1980.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
He was married to Nadine Hopkins March 24, 1984, at St. Martin Catholic Church in the town of Buena Vista.
He was employed at New Page for 26 years, retiring in 2013.
He coached hockey and soccer.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Nichole (Peter) Daschle, Nashville, Tenn.; one son, Derek, Plover; two sisters, Chris (Dennis) Ceplina and Mary Jean Moscinski, both of Stevens Point; one brother, Gary, Thornton, Colo.; and three granddaughters.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Scott.
