Monica U. “Mona” Dieteman, 93, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral chapel from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the service.
The family asks that in her honor people should treat another to a dinner, which was one way she spread kindness.

Mrs. Dieteman was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Stevens, a daughter of the late Jacob and Theresa (Strykowski) Shuda. She attended Stevens Point schools.
She was married to Joseph Dieteman. He preceded her in death.
They moved to Minnesota where she did secretarial work at Chase, Brass & Copper.
Upon retirement they returned to Stevens Point.
Her pastimes included ceramics, sewing, knitting and baking.
Survivors include one sister, Marlene; Marlene’s family; one sister-in-law; Ruth; nieces; nephews; and stepchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy and Grace; one brother, DeLloyd; and three brothers in law, Bill, Connie and Henry.
