A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa. Burial will be at a later date at the Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield.

Mr. Hetzel was born April 1, 1928, in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of the late Harlow and Margaret (Fields) Hetzel.
He served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He was married to Jean Friday Oct. 5, 1952, in Harrison, Ark. She died June 13, 2012.
He was employed by the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune as a linotype operator and later at Larson Canning Company in Green Bay.
Survivors include four sons, Mark, Tim (Nancy) and Dan, all of Bancroft, and Randy (Pam), Rudolph; two daughters, Julie (special friend Ken) Billman, Green Bay, and Marge (Donn) Brown, Adams; one sister, Jeanne Johnson, Hancock; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
