Ronald I. Kulick, 74, Stevens Point, a retired Stevens Point firefighter and former deputy chief, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at home while under the care of his family and Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Full military honors will follow the Mass at church. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.
Memorials may be given in his name to either Ministry Hospice or the Oncology Department at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.

Mr. Kulick was born April 4, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Chester and Irma (Fitzmorris) Kulich. He was a 1957 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy from July 9, 1957, to July 7, 1961, as a personnel clerk and earned the Good Conduct Medal. His honorable discharge, at the rank of petty officer second class, took place at Naval Air Station Moffett Field, Calif.
He was married to Josephine Gonzales May 28, 1960, at Naval Air Station Moffett Field, Calif., while he was in the service. The couple later settled in Stevens Point.
He served 32 years on the city of Stevens Point Fire Department, retiring as deputy chief.
Survivors include his wife, Stevens Point; three sons, Steve (Jodi), Ripon, Bob (Bridget), De Pere, and Pete (Michaele), Bellevue; two daughters, Julie (John) Grogan, McFarland; and Lisa Kulick, Madison; four sisters, Lucille Beadle, Carol (Dick) Scipior, Marie Hopp and Cheryl (Dan) Kluck; and nine grandchildren.
