Larry R. Daberkow, 73, Wisconsin Rapids, a Bancroft native and brother of two Stevens Point residents, died unexpectedly at his residence Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Brian Roehrborn officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Bancroft.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, and from 10 a.m. Friday until the services.

Mr. Daberkow was born Sept. 1, 1940, in Bancroft, a son of the late Fred A. and Agnes M. (Waller) Daberkow.
He was married to Joanne A. Graichen Sept. 24, 1966, at St. John Lutheran Church in Almond.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965.
He worked for Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company, later Great Northern and Georgia Pacific in Port Edwards as an accounting clerk.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Almond.
He and his wife spent time at their cottage on Little Arbor Vitae Lake in Minocqua. In his younger years he played softball and pool for various teams in the surrounding area.
Survivors include his wife, Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Ronald, Stevens Point; one sister, Joyce Daberkow, Stevens Point; one sister-in-law, Betty Daberkow, Bancroft; nieces; and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Leland; and an infant brother, James.
