A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Revs. Jude Dioka and Robert Pedretti officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the Mass.

Mr. Shulfer was born March 9, 1938, in the town of Stockton, a son of the late Alois and Esther (Mrochinski) Shulfer. He graduated from Amherst High School in 1956.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1960, and served as a private and Spc. 4. He served during the Berlin Crisis and was honorably discharged in 1963.
He settled in Milwaukee after service and worked at Briggs & Stratton until his retirement in 1986.
After retirement he moved to Fancher and was active in numerous activities.
Survivors include one son, Mike, Slinger; one daughter, Kim (Tim) Rymer, New Berlin; two sisters, Germaine (Cas) Trzbebiatowski and Marcy (Gene) Trzinski, both of Stevens Point; one brother Fred, Amherst; and five grandchildren.
