A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Monday until the Mass.
Memorials in her name will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Hunt was born July 2, 1937, in Wisconsin Rapids, a daughter of Theresa (Najmenik) Smith and the late Kenneth Smith. Shirley attended schools in Wisconsin Rapids, graduating from Lincoln High School.
She was married to Lloyd Hunt Aug. 25, 1962, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. He died Oct. 14, 2012.
She worked as a cook for St. Joseph Catholic School. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Society at St. Joseph Church. She was active at her parish, serving as past-president of the Rosary Society and cooking for funeral luncheons.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth (Kelly), Plover; three daughters, Mary (James) Klesmith, Susan Hunt and Barbara Hunt, all of Stevens Point; her mother, Theresa Smith, Wisconsin Rapids; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Hunt, Stevens Point; one brother, William (Nancy) Smith, Wisconsin Rapids; three grandsons; two stepgranddaughters; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one son, James; and three brothers, Cliff, Kenneth and Charles Smith.
