A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 6, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Tom Petersen officiating. Burial will be held in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the town of Grand Rapids in Wood County.
Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the service.

Mrs. Schlice was born May 9, 1924, in Neillsville, a daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Case) Bartell. She grew up in Neillsville, attended the local grade school and graduated in 1941 from Neillsville High School. She attended college in Whitewater and graduated with a degree in business education.
Following college, she moved to Stevens Point after accepting a teaching position with P.J. Jacobs High School. She worked as a teacher for more than 26 years and retired from the Stevens Point Area Senior High School.
She was married to Willard “Bill” Schlice Dec. 19, 1948, at St. John Church in Neillsville. He died Jan. 14, 1991.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1949.
She was a member of the Board of Directors at the AchievementCenter, Community Industries and RSVP at the Lincoln Center. She also volunteered at the Riverfront Art Center; Peace Campus Center, Telecare at the Lincoln Center, the university foreign exchange student English Improvement Program, and the Altar Guild and nursing home chapel services at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (R.A. “Bud”) Barta, Dallas, Texas; two sons, Michael (Ann), Wisconsin Rapids, and Roger, Stevens Point; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Donald.
