A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, with the Revs. Andy Behrendt and Eugene Gauerke, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the service.
A memorial fund has been established.

Mrs. Fonstad was born Nov. 14, 1912, in Mukwonago, a daughter of the late Paul E. and Marie (Becker) Yerke.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in home economics from Central State Teachers College (now the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point).
She taught in Alma Center and Kewaskum.
She was married to Ward A. Fonstad July 27, 1941, in Stevens Point.
The couple moved to Waupaca after World War II.
She was active in PTA, Scouting, AAUW and Trinity Lutheran Church, especially the women’s group and Sara Circle. She was a past-president of most of those groups. She served on the Waupaca Board of Education for 12 years and the Library Board for about 10.
Survivors include three sons, Todd, Amherst, Dan (Dorothy), Appleton, and John, Amherst Junction; one sister, Jean Ann Kelly, Marquette, Mich.; three grandchildren, Mark Fonstad, Kristina (Chad) Stingle and Ashley (Nicholas) Berry; two stepgrandchildren, Kyle (Amanda) Brown and Kjersti Simpson; three great-grandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Yerke; and two sisters, Ina Diedrich and Catherine Bates.
