A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Todd Mlsner officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, and at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30. A general rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
Memorials for breast cancer and Alzehimer’s disease research will be established in her name.

Mrs. Jersey was born May 7, 1935, in Clintonville, a daughter of the late Herbert and Ella (Fredrick) Bovee. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1953. She was involved in several organizations and served in leadership roles. She participated in class plays and musical activities.
She was married to Joseph Ralph Jersey Aug. 4, 1956, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville.
She attended Wisconsin State Teachers College, graduating in 1957 with a degree in elementary education.
After her youngest child was in first grade, she began her career at McKinley School in Stevens Point, teaching second grade for the next 30 years. She retired in 1999.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and sang with the church choir at Sunday Mass and funerals.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Michael, Stevens Point; four daughters, Debra (Fred) Hoerter, Plover, Marie (Gary) Schrank, Coon Rapids, Minn., Kathy (Ron) Holets, Rochester, Minn., and Mary (Howard) Clapp, Ozark, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis.
