Benedict “Bennie” Berna, 83, Rosholt, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield a week after having a massive stroke.
Services are pending until spring.

Mr. Berna was born Jan. 1, 1930, in the town of Northland in Waupaca County, the youngest child of Joseph and Josephine (Kizewski) Berna.
He was a lifelong bachelor, a dairy and potato farmer and logger, at one time farming more than five farms.
He donated the wood used in the building of the sawmill at the Rosholt Historical Museum at Fair Park in Rosholt.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara (Victor) Travicky and Regina (Felix) Kranski.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Joseph Jr., Frank, Alois, Felix and Edward; and five sisters, Martha Kruzicky, Clara Kropidlowski, Celia Travicke, Belvina Konkol and Agnes Gaetz.
