A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, and at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday. A general rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Simonis was born July 30, 1933, in Waupaca County, a daughter of the late Leo and Sophie (Kostus) Lorbiecki. She grew up on the family farm in the town of Alban and attended Alban and St. Adalbert schools.
She was married to Ferdinand “Fritz” Simonis Feb. 3, 1953, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. He died in 2004.
Shortly after the marriage, they moved to Milwaukee and resided there for 20 years.
In 1974, they returned to the Rosholt area when they purchased her family’s farm and she lived there until her death.
She was a homemaker, and cared for her husband and 17 children. She assisted her husband with the daily chores on the farm.
They built a cottage near PelicanLake and spent time there with family and friends.
Survivors include seven daughters, Beverly (Richard) Mansavage, Alanna (Michael) Kosmalski, Alicia (Duane) Kostuch, Collett (Chester) Jankowski, and Anita (Russell) Garski, all of Rosholt, Cerise (Harry) Pezewski, Custer, and Melissa (Scott) Frost, Valders; 10 sons, Zachary, Claude, Alan, Daryl (Linda), Frederick (Carmen), David (Karen), Gerard and Avery (Kristen), all of Rosholt, Bryon (Laurie), Custer, and Perry (Wendy), Antigo; one sister, Sally (Richard) Domask, Iola; two brothers, Ralph Lorbiecki, Plover, and Myron Lorbiecki, Rosholt; 47 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one infant brother and one grandson, Noah Simonis.
