Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Junction City, with the Rev. Dr. Timothy W. Roser officiating. Burial will be in Runkel Cemetery in the town of Eau Pleine.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the services.
Memorials may be designated to either St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mrs. Seavers was born Dec. 10, 1936, in the town of Eau Pleine, a daughter of the late Edward and Alma (Wolfe) Havitz. She attended VictoryGrade School and RudolphHigh School.
She was married to Virgil Lloyd Seavers Sept. 12, 1953. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
She was employed for 38 years at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Junction City as a food service supervisor. She won first prize at a state convention for her homemade bread.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Junction City and was active in the choir and Ladies’ Aid. She and her father sang at many funerals and weddings.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Pamela (Kevin) Thomson, Greenleaf; one son, Scott (Elaine), Junction City; four brothers, Edward Havitz, Lake Leelanau, Mich., Jack (Elaine) Havitz and Elliot (friend Katie) Havitz, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Lloyd Havitz, Amherst; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
