His wishes were to be cremated and interred in the Wisconsin Veterans Home Cemetery in King, which will take place in the spring.
Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Mo., assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Lamb was born July 20, 1935, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Raymond and Sophie (Coda) Lamb. He attended school in Amherst.
He entered the U.S. Army Nov. 20, 1956.
He was married to Rita Pomerenke May 18, 1963, at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst.
Most of his life he was a mechanic and owned and operated the Amherst Skelly Station. He also owned and drove a school bus and worked at Larry Farms.
He was active in the Amherst Lions Club, the Amherst Fair Board and Little Britches Rodeo.
In 2000, he moved near Clinton, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; one brother, James (Judy), Custer; and one sister, Mary (Roger) Vass, Amherst.
