Sister Florence Domka, 84, a Sister of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis (SSJ-TOSF) for 67 years and a Stevens Point native, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at the St. Joseph Motherhouse in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at St. Joseph Motherhouse Chapel, 1300 Maria Drive, Stevens Point, with the Rev. Todd Mlsna officiating. Burial will be in the convent cemetery.
Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be offered to the Sisters of St. Joseph-TOSF.

The former Helen Irene Domka was born July 17, 1929, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late John and Regina (Waldoch) Domka.
She entered the SSJ-TOSF community Aug. 15, 1943, and professed perpetual vows Aug. 10, 1953.
Sister Domka was an educator in Catholic schools for 24 years. Locally, she taught at MariaHigh School and at the co-ed PacelliHigh School. She then served for 11 years in provincial leadership of the religious community based in Stevens Point.
For 13 years, she was a pastoral associate at Notre Dame Parish in ChippewaFalls. She retired at St. Joseph Motherhouse in 2000, offering supportive services.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Edmund, Frank, Stanley and Stephen.
