A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.
A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Stroik was born Jan. 30, 1934, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Casey and Clara (Bachinski) Stroik. He attended St.PeterGrade School, ColumbusHigh School in Marshfield and graduated from P.J.JacobsHigh School in 1953.
He entered the U.S. Army Dec. 7, 1956, in Milwaukee. He served as private first class and received the Sharpshooters Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged Dec. 5, 1958, at CampLeroy in Johnson, La.
He was married to Louise Bembenek July 1, 1961, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
After the marriage the couple settled in the Stevens Point area.
He worked for Consolidated Papers-Wisconsin River Division for 40 years, retiring in 1995.
He was a member of the Stevens Point Monsignor McGinley Council 1170 of the Knights of Columbus and the Stevens Point Elks Lodge.
In his earlier years he played high school basketball and played softball for The Flame team.
His nickname remains a mystery to his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Denise L. (Christopher) Stroik-Ostrowski, Spring Lake, Mich.; one grandson, Christian David; three nephews, Ken Grubba, Jeff Grubba and Dennis Grubba; and one niece, Sandy Grubba Sweeney.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Grubba and Annette Nolan; and one brother, Joseph Bemowski.
