It’s that time of year again. There’s a crispness in the air, the leaves have begun to change, and once again I am in the midst of a community theater production.
Since early September, I have been involved with a large group of creative and diverse individuals hell bent on making sure you have a good time when you come to see the latest Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) production, “Young Frankenstein the Musical,” Oct. 24-27 at Theater@1800.
Yes, it’s a musical version of the hilarious movie by Mel Brooks that we all know and love. In fact, it’s even better, if you can imagine that. With all the silly songs added to it, there’s barely a quiet or serious moment in the whole show. We have been laughing for weeks at ourselves and coming up with all sorts of crazy stuff to make you laugh, too.
