John C. Bradach, 96, died Sept. 23, 2013, at Harmony House Living Center in Stevens Point.
Graveside services with full military honors will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at the Chisholm Cemetery in Chisholm, Minn.
Mr. Bradach was born April 6, 1917, the son of Matt and Mary (Zbacknik) Bradach in Chisholm, Minn.
After graduating high school in Chisholm, he worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was drafted into the United States Army during WWII. He served his country as a corporal in the 4006th squadron B Army Air Force. He was honorably discharged Feb. 12, 1946.
He settled in Chicago after service and worked at Marshall Fields Company in the warehouse distribution center. He retired and settled in Tucson, Ariz. In 2005, he relocated to Stevens Point to be close to relatives.
He was an avid Chicago Bear and Cubs fan.
He is survived by a brother, Edward Bradach, Minneapolis; nephew, Robert Bradach, Plover; nieces, Barbara Bradach-Wood, Appleton; Brenda and Beth Bradach, both of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank, Matt, and Martin; and sisters, Mary and Angela “Nel.”
