Marvin J. Trzebny, 81, a Stevens Point native, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Ill.
A service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Forest, Ill.
Mr. Trzebny was born Feb. 13, 1932, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Roman and Lucille (Helbach) Trzebny.
During his early years, he served in the U.S. Army.
He then followed his father’s footsteps and entered into the woodworking business. Together with his brothers, he created Trzebny Brothers Custom Woodworking, where he served as president, until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria; five children; four stepchildren; three brothers, Wilmer, Omro, Wayne and Roman; two sisters, Mary Stanczak and Margie Jones; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
