Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the Pisarski/Dzikoski funeral home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dean Anderson officiating. Mr. Wilson was born June 21, 1933, in Wisconsin Rapids, the son of the late Arthur Wilson and the late Helen Kouba.
He served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1958.
His married Phyllis Potter May 17, 1958, in Minden, Nev.
He was employed for Soo Line Railroad for several years and most recently worked at Worzalla & Sons potatoes. He enjoyed playing cards, watching baseball and western movies, and was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; three daughters, Berna (Steve) Gollon of Plover, Lori (Dan) Ortner of Pittsville and Dawnette (Tim) Sullivan of Stevens Point; two sons, John Wilson of Plover and Terry Wilson of Stevens Point; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son-in-law Daniel Bonsack, three brothers and one sister.
