Mrs. Crute was born June 2, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Daniel and Pauline Fava. She graduated from Valley Forge High School in 1964.
She was married to Ron Crute May 5, 1967.
In 1969 they moved to Rhinelander.
In 2011 they moved to Plover to be closer to their eldest daughter.
During her teenage years she volunteered her time at Parma Hospital as a candy striper and later as a nurse’s aide in the obstetrics department. As an adult, she worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander and assisted as a volunteer in the pharmacy. She finished her career by becoming a home health care provider.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Allison Huebner and Angela Crute; four brothers, John, Daniel, Alan and Harry Fava; one sister, Sue Grady; one granddaughter, Lauren Huebner, and one grandson, Milan Cannamela.
