Barbara H. Pearson, 64, Manitowoc, a Stevens Point native and longtime teacher, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 14, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Manitowoc, with the Rev. Bill Brunner officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the Mass.

Mrs. Pearson was born March 28, 1949, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Jerome and Helen (Gietkowski) Ososki. She grew up in Stevens Point and was 1967 graduate of Maria High School.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
She was married to Hans P. Pearson Aug. 14, 1971, at Stevens Point.
In 1979 the couple moved to Manitowoc and she taught in Reedsville at St. Mary’s-St. Patrick’s Elementary School. She retired from Holy Family Elementary School in Brillion due to illness.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Manitowoc and WEST (Wisconsin Elementary Science Teachers), of which she served on the board of directors.
Survivors include her husband, Manitowoc; one daughter, Molly (fiancé Victor Gadzinski) Pearson, Manitowoc; one son, Michael, Manitowoc; two brothers, Bill (Paula) Ososki, Grass Valley, Calif., and Mike (Jill) Ososki, Atlanta, Ga.; one granddaughter, Skyyler Gadzinski, Manitowoc; and one stepgranddaughter, Sirrena Nowikowski, Manitowoc.
