Robert L. Konig, 97, Stevens Point, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Oakridge Living Center in Stevens Point where he had resided the past for years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, with Pastor Gail Sowell officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, until the services.

Mr. Konig was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Long Island, N.Y. As a child, the family moved to New Orleans and then to Milwaukee, where he attended Hartford and Riverside Schools.
After his education he worked on elevators for Wisconsin Door Systems, subcontracting to Otis Elevator. He and his brother, Vincent, also co-owned and operated a coffee delivery business.
He was married to Catherine Specht July 11, 1981, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
He was involved in airplanes and flying, and built several homemade planes.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Robert, Green Bay; one stepdaughter, Maria Giannattasio; and one stepgranddaughter, Sarah Aumann.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Braun; three brothers, Vincent, William and Kenneth; and one sister, Alice.
