A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel-Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, with a Bible Vigil at 6 p.m., and at the church from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
A memorial in his name will be established with the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Koback was born July 3, 1942, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Roman and Mary (Hopkins) Koback. He attended St. Stephens Elementary School and P.J. Jacobs High School.
He was married to Bonnie Mae Kinney Sept. 17, 1960, at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
He entered the U.S. Army May 2, 1961, in Milwaukee. He earned the Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Badge. He was honorably discharged from Fort Huachuca, Ariz., May 1, 1964.
After service he and his wife returned to the area and he started a 34-year career at UPS. He earned a 25-year safe driving award from UPS and retired in 1999.
He played in the local softball leagues in the area for many years and was an accomplished cribbage player.
Survivors include his wife; seven children, Shelly (Jeff) Eckerson, Plover, Jodi (Kevin) Flatoff, Stevens Point, and Anna (David) Harvath, Custer; four sons, Christopher (Betsy), Portland, Ore., and Scott (Cathy), David and James, all of Stevens Point; and nine grandchildren.
