Lawrence Piotrowski, 86, Amherst Junction, died Friday Aug. 9, 2013, at the Clement Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center in Milwaukee.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, with the Rev. Jude Dioka officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, until the Mass.

Mr. Piotrowski was born Feb. 11, 1927, in Portage County, a son of the late Frank and Catherine (Rzenkowski) Piotrowski.
He entered the US. Army Feb. 26, 1946, in Chicago, Ill. He served as a tech 5 and received the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal. He was honorably discharged May 21, 1947, at Camp Stoneman, Calif.
After the service he farmed in Amherst Junction until 1967 when he moved to Milwaukee and worked there for 10 years. He returned back to the farm in Amherst Junction in 1980.
Survivors include three sisters, Jeanette Krueger, Stevens Point, Teckla Landowski, Hubertus and Margaret (Joe) Koskey, Menominee Falls; one brother, Frank (Sandra), Milwaukee; nieces; nephews.; and his special friends, Chester, Ray and Richard.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Praefke; and four brothers, Edwin, Raymond, Ernest and Orville.
