Eileen Higgins, 92, Green Bay, an Amherst Junction native, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home in Green Bay, with Sister Helen Keyzer officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until the service.

Ms. Higgins was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Amherst Junction, a daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Griffith) Higgins.
She earned a degree from Central State Teachers College in Stevens Point and she became a middle school teacher in Aniwa, Hartland and then Smith, Roosevelt and Cherokee Heights in the St. Paul, Minn., area.
She retired in 1981 and moved back to Green Bay.
Survivors include two nephews, Kurt (Sharon) Phillips, Kenosha; and Bruce Phillips, Green Bay; three great-nieces; seven great-great-nieces; and two great-great-nephews.
