Funeral Services will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Saturday until the services.
A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Varga was born Sept. 21, 1971, in Stevens Point, a son of Nancy Peterson and the late Martin Varga. He attended local schools and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1991.
He entered the United States Army on Jan. 22, 1991, in Milwaukee. He was a combat engineer, earned his parachute wings and was in the Army Airborne, then went on in training for the Maroon Beret.
He received the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Sharpshooters Qualification Badge for the M16 Rifle and the Explosives Qualification Badge for hand grenades. He was discharged on Feb. 18, 1993, at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
He worked with Joe Jakusz in Mosinee doing furs and hides and making specialty hats. He also helped out at Cyran’s Minnowing and Bait Shop.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Nancy (Walter) Peterson, Stevens Point; four brothers, Martin (Terri), Amherst, Steve (Vicki), Wisconsin Rapids, and William (Sue) and Daniel, both of Stevens Point; one sister, Jen Varga, Wisconsin Rapids; and one stepsister, Beki Stanislawski, Stevens Point.
