Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial with full military honors will be in the Woodville Cemetery in the town of Deerfield in Waushara County.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Saturday until the services.
A memorial in his name has been established.
Mr. Ebert was born June 5, 1932, in Horicon, a son of the late Andrew F. and Selma I. (Breitkruetz) Ebert. He was a 1951 graduate of Beaver Dam High School.
After graduation he entered the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was married to Joyce Putskey on Oct. 27, 1956.
Mr. Ebert was employed at the former Nelson Muffler in Wautoma until his retirement. Survivors include his former wife, Joyce, Wautoma; three sons, Gregory, Wautoma, Dean (Cindy), Hancock, and Kevin (Dawn), Corona, Calif.; one sister, Joyce (Orville) Schaller, South Dakota; one brother, Wayne (Sallie), St. Germain; four grandchildren; two stepgrandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Dennis.
