Sylvester “Syl” J. Pavlowski, 84, Stevens Point, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at his home.
A Funeral Mass was held Wednesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial was in the St. Bartholomew Parish Cemetery.
Visitation was at the church Wednesday.

Mr. Pavlowski was born Dec. 22, 1928, in the town of Carson, a son of the late John and Martha (Kubowski) Pawlowski.
He owned and operated Wisconsin Engine Parts for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1993.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Pavlowski, St. Paul, Minn.; one son, Karl (Michelle), Green Bay; three sisters, Helen Marchel, town of Eau Pleine, Theresa Jazdzewski, Stevens Point, and Betty Paulson, Oklahoma; and one grandson.
He was also preceded in death by twin sons; two brothers; one sister; and one granddaughter.
