For many people, June means wedding season. Weddings are famous for being both joyful celebrations and stressful parties. It’s difficult to find the right dress, location, caterers, bridesmaids dresses, flowers, photographers… the list goes on. It’s no wonder there’s so many reality shows about weddings.
One of the main concerns about weddings is that they are expensive.
According to TheKnot.com, newlyweds and their families spent an average of $28,427 in 2012. That’s the highest amount since 2008, according the site’s annual survey of 17,500 couples. Ouch.
