Walter W. “Wally” Miloch, 97, Polonia, died at his home on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, with the Rev. Greg Michaud officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mr. Miloch was born Feb. 16, 1916, a son of the late Joseph and Martha (Hyrek) Miloch. He was 2 years old when his mother died and he was raised in the St. Clare Orphanage in Polonia. He resided there until he was age 12 and then went to live with Tom and Anna Palbrach, working as a farm hand on their farm.
He continued to live on the farm with Ray and Anna Palbrach and also resided with them when they moved off of the farm. Once retired, he moved to live by himself.
He was a carpenter most of his life and also worked for Dan Koziczkowski and Ralph Koziczkowski building homes.
Survivors include two nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers; two half-brothers; and one half-sister.
